On September 1, Google unveiled a new logo and announced several changes to its look and feel that users will see across devices and services. Rolling out soon across all of Google's products, the redesign includes new elements such as a colorful mic to interact with when talking, tapping or typing, as well as a four-color "G" that replaces the former "g" icon. "We think we've taken the best of Google (simple, uncluttered, colorful, friendly), and recast it not just for the Google of today, but for the Google of the future," reads an official blog post by Tamar Yehoshua, VP, Product Management, and Bobby Nath, Director of User Experience.
